Residential Design
February 2024

This project started with a space that didn’t know what it wanted to be. A tight corner trying to function as a kitchenette, laundry, and bathroom all at once, with no real flow and no real comfort. The goal was simple. Give the homeowner a layout that finally makes sense and create two separate zones that feel intentional, bright, and easy to live in.
We installed new click vinyl flooring selected from Home Depot, added a brand-new shower where there wasn’t one, completed the tile work you see throughout, updated the lighting, and refined the overall interior design so every square foot feels clean, bright, and modern. We also coordinated details like paint, trim, hardware, and fixture placements to bring the homeowner’s moodboard to life and make the finishes feel cohesive across both rooms.
To complete the transformation, we partnered with specialists for the final elevated touches. Millwork was completed by Aspen Design and countertops were done by Capital Granite, helping tie the new cabinetry, sink area, and work surfaces into a crisp black-and-white palette that feels fresh and timeless.

JG General Contractors transformed this dated acrylic corner shower into a spa-style tiled ensuite.

JG General Contractors transformed this unfinished Ottawa basement into a fully functioning secondary suite.
