Parkside Privacy Deck

JG Contracting transformed this Ottawa backyard into a private outdoor living room with a custom pressure-treated wood deck and full privacy fence. We started from the ground up with a solid framed structure on concrete footings, then installed tight deck boards, finished skirting, and a low step to connect the house to the yard. The new fenced-in deck creates a safe, sheltered space for lounging, dining, and barbecuing while keeping pets and kids contained. Solar post caps, a gazebo-ready layout, and flexible furniture zones turn what used to be unused grass into a low-maintenance patio that truly feels like an extension of the home.
